This session provides a framework for aligning arts curriculum to CASEL’s “Framework for Systemic Social and Emotional Learning.” Participants will learn to use SEL prompts and reflection to anchor arts activities and connect the National Core Arts Standards to SEL. Examples provided will draw upon dance and movement activities, with reflection to discuss how the same approach can be used when applying the SEL framework to other arts disciplines.
