Participants will see how contemporary art can be used in an elementary school setting with students in grades Kindergarten up to 8th grade. They will hear about several project ideas and methods for incorporating contemporary art into the curriculum. Participants will be exposed to an online resource that promotes teaching with contemporary art. Participants will also engage in a quick art making activity that is influenced by traditional materials and contemporary art.
